How much does it cost? My job, as your contractor, is to negotiate with suppliers for the best prices for you and oversee the quality of workmanship on your project. S&G Builders works on a cost plus scale. The savings we get from negotiating with our suppliers is passed on to you.

How long will our project take? We try to complete each project as expediently as possible so as not to inconvenience our clients any more than necessary.

How do we pick the finishes that go into our house? We accompany our clients to showrooms in and around the Columbus area and work with their professionals to ensure our clients see the best products to meet individual tastes and needs.

What is the process? What do we need to do to get started? The process depends upon the project. If blueprints are needed (for new builds, room additions, garages, anything that changes the exterior facade of your house) you will need to meet with an architect (either ours or one of your choosing). The plans have to be approved by you before we can put them “out for bid” to our sub-contractors and suppliers. When we have completed our job of getting the best prices for you, we will send you an itemized proposal for your acceptance. Then city permits are procured, we set a start date, and we’re ready to begin!

Is S&G Builders licensed? Yes, we are licensed with the City of Columbus and all surrounding suburbs.

Is S&G Builders insured? Yes, we are insured and our workers are bonded.
